I do my best to make learning fun and relatable.

I have worked as an English, Math, and Science tutor at both the undergraduate and graduate level for the past 7 years. Within that time, I have tutored countless students that have shown noticeable improvement in their test scores and their understanding of class material. As an undergraduate at Victor Valley College, I was part of the Model United Nations program, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Writing Center. I currently work as a tutor at CSU San Bernardino, where I assist students with writing assignments from a wide variety of disciplines. As a senior/graduate level pre-medical biology major, I am highly experienced with topics ranging from Cellular Respiration to Neuroscience. I also have hundreds of hours of plant, animal, cellular, and outdoor/ecological lab experience.

I began my educational ork experience in Tokyo, Japan, I returned to the Statesm where I spent 9 years working in the public school system. I earned my single subject CA clear credential in English via BTSA in 2007.
I am a very detail oriented, fact minded instructor, I believe in positive reinforcement and motivation. I hink students need to be motivated by their strengths versus their minuses. I like to work with what students enjoy.
