I have returned to college as an adult learner for a Political Science Degree. As a returning student, my experience has been much more satisfying than that of a younger learner. What I have also found in attending classes is, I am able to contribute in a very practical way to college courses because I have been in the field working for many years. Prior to homeschooling my six children, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Schriner's Burn Institute in Boston, and then at Darmouth College Medical School in Hanover, NH.
