Hello, My name is Courtney Carter and I am a certified teacher.I graduated with a degree from Auburn University and minored in geography. I have always enjoyed helping others and watching them reach their goals through my tutoring with them. I was driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education based on my own families background and my own. Because I was overlooked it gave me the desire to help those that seemed mostlikely to not succeed. I earned a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education while working full time and being a full time mom. I went on to earn my Masters in Education and Psychology/Counseling. For the past 15 years I have taught in Public schools as well as Private schools.In addition, I have taught at a local Technical College. For the past year I have tutored students in grades 6-9. As someone who graduated with an associates in a scientific field, I know how important it is to be persistant in my knowledge of mathematics and how critical it is for others to succeed knowing the same knowledge that I know about math no matter what the career field. My teaching styles and techniques very with the student and their knowledge of the subject and learning skills. I am patient, willing to listen to the student's(s') needs, and apply those needs in any way that I am able.
