My comments on tutoring Algebra II : More in depth then Algebra I but utilizes the same fundamentals. As long as you have a solid understanding of the fundamentals then you can acheive success in this subject.

I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. Ex. cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems,etc.....! By understanding the make-up of cellular structures and relating that to tissue functions the students can fully understand a subject. This proves true with all subjects. By impowering the student with good base fundamentals, my students find it easier to link concepts together.

I am an Elementary Education Major at the University of Florida and have helped many students succeed in all subject areas, with a strong focus on Elementary Education. Some subjects that I particularly tutor in include: math, science, english, social studies, and language arts. I also supply a student with supplemental material I feel will help them learn better and at their own, individual pace.
