Economics is one of my top subjects! Economics major in college, I will only take high school level students or students taking introductory level undergraduate courses (both micro and macroeconomics)

My basic structure will provide you with a general lesson plan to undertake seperately of the charged hours. During charged hours, we will go over your work and we will bolster your prepapredness according to your unique skill set. I received a LSAT Score of 169 when i took the test in June of 2012. I have graduated from Rollins College and will be a student at Georgetown Law Center, beginning in the Fall of 2013. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style would be best described as creative and improvisational. Because I work with students from such varied backgrounds, I believe that the best method is one that allows for flexibility and at the same time incorporates lessons from several fields at once. For example, in both my GED and ESOL courses I incorporate music into my lesson plans. I find that music is an excellent avenue to explore contemporary topics that can then lead to essay topics. I am generally flexible, seeking to find what works best for a particular student. My wife and I once hosted a French teenager with the understanding that I would teach him a series of English lessons during his stay. It quickly became apparent that his language skills far exceeded the pre-planned lessons, so I instead developed new lessons on the fly. I try to make sure my students thoroughly understand the central concepts of a subject by showing them how it works and why it matters. After they have that grasp, I try to move on to less important but more entertaining areas. My favorite approach is to take it slow. I find that to teach a student a specific field of knowledge there is almost always a hindering block that cannot be seen at first glance. For instance, a student who is having trouble with division of decimal numbers may not realize that the whole issue stems from his lack of understanding of the multiplication tables. Allowing the student to show you what he or she knows and watching the student attempt the problem step-by-step will reveal this hidden block. Once this hidden block is taken care of, the information will flow easily and naturally.
