But it is also often necessary to help them identify what doesn't work and find new approaches that will. Writing is a skill that is crucial to academic success in college; students must excel in writing to do well in an academic environment. Writing is also a useful skill when it comes to thinking and to organizing one's thoughts. I am most comfortable with tutoring students who are preparing for college.

I'm currently enrolled in a Masters of Arts of Teaching graduate program.Former instructors, professors and employers describe me as personable, ambitious, confident, reliable, disciplined and a dedicated individual. I graduated in 2006 from Saint Joseph’s University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Fine Arts. As a junior, I was chosen to study art abroad. Upon my return, I was selected to be a Residential Assistant. In this role I completed a comprehensive training program focusing on communication skills, counseling and health, emergency response, team building and conflict resolution.
