I enjoy teaching children of all ages. Learning can be fun as long as you can relate it to something that the child is interested in. A Little Bit About Me...

My technique in teaching navigation was to expose the student to the underlying physics of dead reaconing and celestial object movement. Then we would put the theory into practice in the air. I strove to always give positive feedback and encouragement.
I have been driven to excel in college and in my career in logistics. I've graduated from two of the top universities in the US, and retired from the USAF as a Major. I'm also a graduate of Air War College. I've traveled the world as an instructor navigator and defense contractor, learning about many cultures and religions. In addition to Spanish, I also speak Turkish. I also owned my own logistics services business, winning a contract with the USAF.

A Little Bit About Me...

While I was in high school, I tutored all subjects in math except Calculus. In college, I tutored students in Calculus, general engineering courses, and I was an assigned mentor to three students. I have earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Materials Science Engineering. I have also taken courses in Graphic Communications. I am currently enrolled in a diploma program at Middle Georgia Technical College. I am very good at finding gramatical errors. After over 20 years of teaching, elementary (3), middle school (15) and adults (2), I have learned to use a variety of teaching techniques to assist students in understanding most science and social science concepts. My first language is Spanish, my second language is English. I grew up in Ecuador for 28 years and when I got married, I moved to the States. I majored in Special Education while in my home country and Special Education became my profession. When I came to the states I realised I had to take the GACE exam in order to be a teacher here along with SPANISH test, so I did exactly that and became a teacher in Peach County teaching Spanish I and II. I have been teaching Spanish for 3 years. I am also teaching my own kids Spanish as their second language.
I love to see kids learning a second language. I realise today in the states there is such much more job opporuntities when you have a second language.
