I worked for two years at the Cleveland State University Writing Center where I tutored writing and reading comprehension to undergraduate and graduate students of many academic backgrounds. I tutored students one-on-one and also taught writing workshops to groups of 3-6 students. My comments on tutoring GED : I have tutored students at several non-profit organizations in Cleveland for GED test preparation. I have successully mamanged a GED math and science preparation course. In nine months the success rate was increased by 64% I wrote an interactive math education program for GED test preparation and it is used by several school systems in N.E. Ohio

My teaching style assesses in the student's learning ability to set the pace. Before beginning the next a review of the previous lesson is in order to be sure the prior lesson has been grasped. Each encounter with the students is an assessment for me as well as for the student of me. Positive reinforcement is a good way to keep students on point.
