Enthusiastic teacher seeks to work with a young mind

I'm laid back and like to draw the student's interests. I love small details and histories and to make a student think.
I've worked in the ESL (or related) field for a total of 8 years. I was a Foreign Language Expert in China for 3 years and am finishing my 4th year as a rater for the TOEFL exam. I would say my teaching style is more relaxed. I believe this helps one see students weaknesses and strengths better. It also allows one to compare the overall effect of teaching for each student. When I see a student falling behind then thats when I take action and try top get them where they should be in that area.
My experience is one that has taken me many different places to meet many diffrent people. I have always had a gift of helping others and conveying to them my knowledge. A Little Bit About Me...

For years, my passion has been “to gladly learn and gladly teach.” Since graduating from law school, I coached Cumberland’s National Arbitration team to two consecutive top 20 placements, taught “Criminal Evidence” to Miles College undergrads, and now will being teaching “Research and Writing” at the Birmingham School of Law.
