I went from the Boston Public Schools to Commonwealth School and then Wellesley College, and would have been lost, early on, without help from tutors. I majored in English and Russian and work with several communities for whom English is not their first language. I am also a freelance writer and editor and I help my children's friends with their college essays. I work as a substitute teacher with all levels and grades and teach everything but Science and Gym.
I am patient and approachable but insist on the value of completing assignments even if the student "hates" them. I taught school for four (4) years to ages kindergarten - seventh grade. I also tutored inner city children ages 5-12 for two (2) years. For the last eight (8) years I have been tutoring ages kindergarten- third grade. I took courses in psychology and children. I have a J.D. Degree, Masters Degree and Bachelor of Arts Degree. I studied foreign language and assited with children in math, reading, art, hebrew, bible study and reading. I am proficient in German and French.

I have been in a school environment as my favorite pass time was to spend with children. Math is my favorite course. I helped students achieve good grip on calculations and solving problems. In Short- Teaching kids gives me peace and satisfaction in life.
