A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in a pretty simple rule; repeat, repeat, repeat. Learning math and physics through example is the best way. Repeating these examples is a sure way to success. They student may not like math or physics, but once they start to do well in it they'll come to love it.
During my studies at SUNY Buffalo I tutored in Regents Math which I also took when I was in high school. In Virginia Tech I was a Graduate Research Assistant. I ran Aerospace Engineering labs, assigning work to undergraduate students which I graded. I was available for multiple hours per week assisting students in their homework and lab reports. Since then I have been a math tutor in calculus. Engineering requires a solid understanding of math from the basics such as algebra and geometry to more difficult calculus and linear algebra. During my years at undergraduate study I tutored mathematics and physics even though most were graduate students. At the same college I was also a laboratory assistant for College Chemistry 1 and 2. A good portion of my other position was working at the Drake Memorial library where I assisted both student and teachers with finding resource materials. At the Worldlife Institute Education center at Waterport, NY I was a voluntary teacher for high school students. In working in the heating and air conditioning industry my experience in teaching has enabled me in training fellow technicians and mentoring new recruits and employees.
