Elementary Math is one of my top subjects! Math was my favorite subject in school and I am confident in my Math skills and ability to teach it.

My classroom experience with Special Education started while in college at Illinois State University, where I gained very valuable experience teaching in a variety of classrooms. For one semester, I taught in a junior high life-skills classroom where we practiced daily living skills and went out into the community so the students could practice skills such as locating items in a store, paying with money, and crossing the street. Elementary Math is one of my top subjects!

Hello, my name is Jennifer Garcia and I am currently in the final stage of becoming a certified elementary teacher. My experience began in high school when I offered my tutoring services to elementary children. The student was in grade school and I assisted in math for a period of 3 months. Other opportunities arrived in college. I was a TA for two years for one of my professors. When I finished my B.S. A Little Bit About Me...

I have previously worked for the YMCA in a before and after school program for elementary age children. As students work their way up to Calculus and further, it is important to understand the process of problem-solving and not focus on the numbers alone.
