I graduated with honors from the College of Charleston (and the Honors College) with a degree in Business Administration/Finance and a minor in Pre-Actuarial studies. As part of my minor I completed Calculus I, II, III, and IV, Linear Algebra, and graduate courses in Probability and Statistics. I have had the opportunity to continually enhance my analytical abilities and will begin working on my Masters Degree in Mathematical Finance at UNCC this fall. I have worked with children since I was 13. I have worked in settings where I was a daycare worker, a nanny, and a substitute teacher. I believe that every child has thier own unique way of learning even though there may be a mainstream way of teaching. I like to see where a child is and then go from there to see what would be the best way to help them learn new things.

Some are visual learners while others may need to have something explained to them with several different examples based on their individual needs. I love learning and the precision arts such as mathematics. This has driven me to begin in a computer career. I spent almost two decades applying my computer skills. Learning has never stopped for me. But then I love the outdoors and working with my hands. I have taught myself the carpentry trade and the concrete business. I started out by sitting down with the manuals and memorized the building codes before I built my own house. Recently I applied mathematics to a roof I was building.
