I believe in meeting each child at his/her current skill level and building confidence and concepts from there. Each student has his/her own strengths and weaknesses, and learns at his/her own pace. Rather than expecting all students to understand a concept using one teaching style, I teach a lesson using multiple modalities followed by step-by-step tasks which reward successive approximations to a concept. A Little Bit About Me...

I have work in the Chemical Industry for over 15 years and in that time I have learn to run experiments, do calculations and write reports. I have had to you and learn extensively about chemistry and and had to math to understand and interpret the results. I have worked a group called the Tronix team were I would work with middle school students building boom boxes from lunch boxes.
