Accounting and Finance often blend the theoretical and concrete. I strive to teach theories and concepts through fun activities and games in order to make learning fun and as stress free as possible. To fully grasp the numerical applications of accounting and finance the answer is deceptively simple: practice, practice, practice. Having obtained a Communications degree from college, I was quite driven to help students who faced challenges in the areas of reading/writing. Further, I had extensive experience in Title I and Reading Labs, even on the college campus where I studied. Later, I earned my Master's degree and did research to assist me in understanding the pervasive issue of a higher incidence of language difficulties faced by these students versus that realized in Math. During the past years, I have taught high school and college English courses to students who have been identified as needing assistance in Reading and writing. I have also assisted students with other subjects, such as Algebra I, II, Problems of Democracy, high school science, etc.
