A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate from Nevada State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a TESL endorsement. Through my time in college, I have completed various volunteer work within the Clark County School District as well as my student teaching. I am known for my attention to detail in reading and writing. I have worked as the vice president of my college's newspaper and have been nominated and have won awards in Journalism, Poetry and Short Stories. My passion is to make a positive difference in the lives of every student that I teach. I have been involved with youth for a long time as scoutmaster and as coach in recreational soccer. I enjoy working with children, especially if they are willing to learn and improve their skills and knowledge. I assess the student's grasp on the subject and determine where assistance is needed. Using various means I then help the student to get the knowledge needed to achieve academic success.
As a student in high school, I became fascinated with Chemistry and went on to earn a BS in Chemistry.
