I have had 22 years total of tutoring experience, worked for six different supplemental educational services tutoring providers, worked for three different online tutoring companies, and have eleven years of experience as an ESL Teacher. What I like about helping people learn more and do better in communicating and expressing themselves is that it gives me a chance to "give back" all that I know in a special way. I was taught at a early age to be the best I possibly could. I was taught to do my best. That has stuck with me all the way through college. I have earned a BS degree in Communication which has given me a knowledge of how to write effectively. I took an editing course which focused on the fundamentals of writing along with correct editing skills. I have had the opportunity to teach individuals in their home while serving a church mission for two years. Also within my church I have taught children the doctrinal basics of the church.
Teaching children is a passion of mine. They soak in the knowledge like a sponge. I am patient, easy going, but also know the task at hand. I try to find the best way to teach that individual child. Every child learns in a different way. I seek to find that way. Since I learn best in a hands-on manner I try to teach that same way.
