Education is my life, and with advanced degrees in both the sciences (Masters) and music (Doctorate) I am well versed in math, science, English, music and the arts. I have authored research papers and articles, and as university faculty assisted students in successfully completing their degree goals. My purpose as an educator is to inspire the student to develop the skills necessary, not only to succeed, but to excel. A Little Bit About Me...

I have enjoyed working with children for a long time. In high school, I volunteered at a Summer Reading Academy for elementary school students. I have a bachelor degree from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Cognitive Science and minoring in Linguistics and Computer Science. One summer, my internship was working at a Teach For America training campus. I will obtain my master degree in business (MBA) from the University of Memphis in December 2010. I consider my strengths both math and writing.
Teaching, in my opinion, is a matter of patience. Each child can learn a skill, though the amount of time it takes to learn that skill may vary from child to child.
