I feel that I can relate to children because I am also a child at heart. I believe in constant verbal quizzing and repitition as a means to develop the child's ability to retain knowledge and call it forth at will. I have learned from past work experiences that all people learn differently be it either visual, kinetic (hands-on), or verbal (by listening). By learning the child's learning type you can tell which method appeals to them and can create a learning environment to encourage their growth at a faster rate. I also have a history in the theatrical arts and vocal music performance which can assist in grasping the child's attention during those times of relaxed focus. A Little Bit About Me...

Any opportunity to help someone else is one I enjoy participating in. As I mentioned, I am going into nursing and wish to work in pediatrics. I have been tutoring children/adolescents for years and can truly say that it has been a rewarding experience. Relating or connecting with a student have never been an issue with me.
