Genetics is one of my top subjects! I have been a genetics counselor for 13 years. Masters degree in genetic counseling from Arcadia University. I am also certified as a genetic counselor. Worked as a genetic counselor in a prenatal setting, metabolics, newborn screening, and molecular genetics. My expertise is in metabolic genetics but all human genetics is in my range of experience. I can also assist with the certification exam for genetic counseling.

I have a B.S. in biology from West Virginia Wesleyan College. The college is a liberal arts school and I had to take a variety of course work aside from science classes. While I was in school I spent a summer in Australia with the School for Field Studies studying Tropical Ecology and Tropical Reforestation. There are 2 things that I’ve known since I was a child, I am fascinated by the study of biological mechanisms and I enjoy helping others. As an undergraduate at Allegheny College, I excelled in the biological sciences and was selected to be a teaching assistant for the Cellular Biology & Molecular Biology courses.
