As an Adjunct Professor in Humanities at Prairie State College for the past 5 years, I have acquired a wide variety of teaching skills at the College Level. In addition, since my undergraduate work I have always tutored in various departments, Mathematics calculus and college algebra. French and Hebrew at the University of Chicago, and presently, private tutoring in French, and at Prairie State College, in Philosophy, Mathematics, and Humanities. I've been tutoring for the Goodwill to help disadvantaged youth, tutoring ASU students in accounting, economics and algebra. In addition, I helped a friend pass her GED. I have a Marketing BS as well as over 15 hours in accounting and German. Professionally, I have done over 18 years of sales training. In addition, I've been a guest lecturer at Indiana University Northwest and a consultant to the Gary Area Career Center and past member for the Hoosiers for Higher Education. I prefer to tutor math but can tutor other subjects as well. I find the child's strengths and weaknesses. I communicate on their level. I am patient and fun to be around. I can get through to them because of my instincts.

Every child wants to learn, although a more creative design may be needed to find a child's greatest potential. Patience, consideration, and encouraging words are simple tasks to help the self esteem of children in a child's education. With a degree from Purdue University and continuing on to get a degree in engineering, I am engaged in many areas of science and math. Even at a young age I taught my younger sister basic mathematical and reading skills even before she entered kindergarten; we called it "school". The youngest, my brother, in which we are both diagnosed with ADHD, is amazing. I quickly learned to be patient with him when helping with his homework because I can see the same frustration on his face I had at his age when trying to concentrate on a difficult task.

I can teach any age since I have experience with almost with age group of 5 yr to 30 yr. and I love my job Since I was in high school I have been teaching my sisters to get their way around with Science/Math/English. I realized my understanding more towards this subjects as I went teaching Students through out my Under graduation.
