I then received my Masters in Special Education and began working with special needs students in the high school setting. While teaching Special Education students,I received my Specialists Degree in Special Education. I currently teach Social Studies to learning disabled, emotional behavior students, and Mildly Intellectually disabled students. I am also in charge of the tutoring program for the whole school in Social Studies. I have a lot of patience and am willing to try anything. In college I would help students by making study guides that listed detailed notes on the subject mater. Through my use of detailed notes and study guides the past can be connected to the present and the future.

That love of Spanish caused me to formally study the language, and earn a B.A. and an M.A. in Spanish. My interest in Spanish also took me to Paraguay, and Mexico, where I lived for over three years.
