I mostly work with adolescents and middle school aged children as an English teacher.Working with students with disabilities has taught me to be patient, considerate and compassionate with diverse groups needing more attention than regular ed children. For just over a decade I have been involved in some form of peer education or mentoring. As a senior in high school, I tutored students in mathematics and science. As an ACS Certified Chemist, I have been exposed to upper level mathematics, chemistry and physics, but am still required to use writings skills in preparing various reports and papers.
