I transferred from a 2 year community college in Harriman, TN known as Roane State Community College. While earning my degrees in biochemistry and psychology, I found many opportunities to tutor. I worked for four years in the department of Minority Affairs as a tutor of calculus, biology, and general and organic chemistry, but the majority of my students sought assistance in chemistry. I also worked for a year as a volunteer tutor in the Honors Tutoring Committee of Tennessee Technological University and then served for several more years as an Honors Tutoring Committee Co-Chair.
