A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught children with a variety of exceptionalities which include learning disabilities, autism, and mental retardation. I especially enjoy the challenge of teaching students who having learning difficulties. The children I have been accustomed to working with have typically fallen in the kindergarten through 5th grade level. I am most accustomed to teaching math and language arts, but feel I am capable of also teaching students in other subject areas. I teach according to students' learning styles and according to the particular student's needs. I believe that all children are capable of learning given the appropriate environment and experiences.

I consider myself to be a life long learner and have a passion to teach others what I have learned. I am certified to teach Art in grades K-12 and currently work as a Substitute Teacher in grades K-12.
