I taught public school for 4 years before getting a masters degree in Religious Education with a Concentration in Childhood Education. I wanted to complement my undergraduate Elementary Education degree. Therefore, I choose the childhood education concentration at seminary. Then I was a Assoicate Pastor for Children for over 13 years where I supervised paid workers and planned activities for a children's ministry at a local church. Upon graduating with a BA in International Affairs and Spanish in the Spring of 2003, I traveled to India to work in an orphanage and school for orphaned and underpriviledged children. For six months, I taught a wide range of subjects, including Reading, Writing, History, Social Sciences and Math in a small classroom setting (10-30 students).
