While passing the FCAT is obviously one component of improving your child’s skills, this class is focused on going beyond what is expected by the FCAT. I want to encourage creative expression through different styles of writing, and I want them to develop a love for reading, or at least find a few books that they absolutely can’t stop reading. I have always been fascinated with the Spanish language: its phonology, expressions, and many forms of the Spanish language. That love of Spanish caused me to formally study the language, and earn a B.A. and an M.A. in Spanish. My interest in Spanish also took me to Paraguay, and Mexico, where I lived for over three years.
