The key to educating children is to instill in them a lifelong passion for learning. Every day I try to do that with my students. Although, they come into my class with a lot of "baggage" from home and challenges with being bilingual I build their confidence through specific praise. I also challenge them to think "out of the box". I applaud creativity and discovery. In addition, I provide a safe learning environment by being patient and understanding of their needs. Through this, I hope I instill in my students what they need to meet their life's goals and dreams.

My teaching experience, coupled with related activities outside the classroom has provided me with a diverse background with much to offer to the position of computer tutor for the Ann Arbor college. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan in Flint this May, 2008. Prior to that, I had an extensive student teaching experience in both suburban and urban school districts. During my years in education, I have focused on teaching learning concepts to students in a manner that is easy to understand for students with all kinds of learning abilities.
