I have studied Spanish for 6 years now. I am confident in my speaking, listening and writing skills. My reading skills are a little weaker than the rest of my skills. I spent a couple weeks in Spain and Mexico, not studying but certainly using my language skills. I will be certified to teach K-12. I believe that the earlier one starts learning a language, the easier it will be for them and the quicker they will learn. I worked for Kankakee Community College for one year as a Math and Spanish tutor in 2006 and 2007. During this year, I honed the mathematics I learned through high school as well as the four years of Spanish I had taken to that point.
