I use a variety of teaching styles to involve students in the learning process: in traditional and computer-mediated classroom settings, and over the internet. This allows the students to get a brief introduction to the day’s material before they work in groups on questions about the material. When it comes to teaching or tutoring, I find that it is necessary to craft a pedagogical style that will match the learning style of your student. Each student learns in a different way, whether visually, aurally, kinesthetically, subconsciously, or simply by rote. I find that it is necessary to try each option with all students.
