Algebra I is one of my top subjects! I consistently made mostly "A" averages in Algebra I, and scored well in this subject throughout K-12, as well as college.

I like to use the Socratic method, mainly by asking questions and challenging assumptions. I will teach what algebra is really about in five hours, the basics. In engineering, a common phrase is KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). Give Algebra l a KISS, get all the basics in the book upfront, and do sample problems in each section of the book. You will then understand all the daily mumbo-jumbo of Algebra l, and just need to do more of the assigned practice problems. But you will already know how to do the problems, and why.

As a student I solved so many operations involving calculus that I memorized the formulas and used them as fast as the multiplication tables. I am a native Spanish speaker.
