I recently graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering. I have taken extensive courses in math and science. Math and science are fields that I love and excel at. While in undergrad I was active in many student organizations and volunteer opportunities. I volunteered at science olympiad for a year and also tutored middle school students. I have many younger siblings, all of whom I have helped with homework on several occasions. There is no better moment that when a child becomes engaged and starts understanding and asking questions. Once a child starts asking questions you know that they are excited about it and want to learn. When teaching my goal is always to get children excited about what they are doing and then proceed from there. All children have different strengths and I try to work from those strengths.

I truly enjoy working with children, teenagers, and adults. I know that every person is unique, so I try to learn some things about my client before developing a teaching plan that will lead to academic success. I graduated with a biology degree, but have a great understanding of all sciences and maths. In addition, I am successful in completing research papers, lab reports, and creative writing tasks. While in school, I managed to complete my own work and help others gain knowledge of the given topic. Now, as a graduate and stay-at-home mother, I have began tutoring. I have multiple degrees in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue University. I also have a partial degree in Accelerated Associates in Culinary Arts from Kendall College and a few classes in Computer Science in the Masters program in Computer Science and the University of Illinois Chicago. I have experience in manufacturing engineering, Research and Development, Sales, Management in Computers and several years as a Chef. My early teaching and learning style was to do as many problems that were thrown at me in class or the text. I learned quickly that you need to understand the problem in order to solve problems that aren't set up for you.
