In a world where you can be anything, be yourself.

My teaching style varies by the student. If the student learns fast and is persitent, I will move at a faster state, but if the student learns at a normal or a slower pace I will move at a rate in which the child will get the most out of the tutoring experience.
I have helped children and teens from all ages in the field of English as well as performing arts. I have a passion for fine arts and literature and enjoy tutoring and helping others. I also have a passion for mathematics and have tutored several classmates in past years. I am a former high school and middle school English teacher who is currently pursuing a Master's of English at East Carolina University. This past semester I tutored in a writing studio at ECU. For the past few years I have been tutoring students K-12 in various subjects, mostly language arts. I also have substitute-taught at a couple different schools in Pitt County. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked in a day care a few years ago. I had a young school age class. I assisted with homework assignments, studying for test and how to behave in a classroom.
