A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored classmates and friends throughout college and after in science and math disciplines. My younger sister struggled in school and I assisted her with all disciplines from grades K-12. I studied Chemical Engineering at West Virginia University and got my degree in four years. Classes I took included four semesters of calculus, including multivariable and differential equations, two semesters of physics, inorganic and organic chemistry, and several chemical engineering specific classes. I feel comfortable with most math and science courses and I have some experience with statistics as well. I'm proficient in Microsoft excel and some statistics programs including minitab and JMP.

I have a BS in Physics, Magna Cum Laude, and I specialized in astrophysics. As an undergraduate, I tutored mathematics at all levels from beginning algebra to calculus as well as the engineering physics sequence. I was a Teaching Assistant for lower division astronomy and physics labs, providing hands-on instruction as well as giving lectures.
