I like to teach using different strategies and methods, because I know all the students in the classroom are not going to learn the same way. I feel it is best to fully understand my content and standards. Then create lessons to teach the students in a way they will learn the material best for them. I teach using various methods: hands-on, kinesthetic, real life learning, music, incorporating other contents and likes, while still creating a routine for structure. I have working with people of all ages since my teen years to help them excel in areas they once struggled. I currently do some subbing in local districts and help out area students in various content areas. I taught school for 12 years at the middle level, mostly in Math. I developed and implemented an AT-Risk program in the Milwaukee area. Then became a stay at home mom. I currently work at an area Insurance Company and help students when I can.
