As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college. I understood the importance of understanding math in life early on and my Finance degree only validated that notion. Early this year, I began tutoring advanced math to middle school kids and found it to be a rejuvenating to see young minds eagerly waiting to be academically challenged.
During my course as a math tutor, I’ve found one on one tutoring to be most effective. As a parent of four, educator,education advocate and mentor, I have spent most of my adult life working with young people in various learning enviroments. I have a love for and commitment to educational preparedness for students of every learning level. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree, the Master of Social Sciences degree, a Master of Arts degree, and will receive the Ph.D degree in Educational Innovation and Human Development in May 2010.
