I have shadowed in a variety of classrooms, from Kindgergarten Special Education to Second grade gifted math. I have taught gymnastics to children ages 3-18 for over 3 years. I also have an immense background of babysitting and tutoring with children and helping with their homework. Children are my passion, and I love watching them grow. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 5th- 9th grades. I was a Title I Reading teacher for 3 years, working with struggling readers. I later went on to teacher 1st and 2nd grades self-contained. During those years, I offered tutoring during the summer to students ranging from 1st grade to 11th grade. I have taught World History and Language Arts for middle school students for the last four years.

I am a high school senior in the AP/Honors program at Warner Robins High School. I have two little sisters who I have tutored since they began school. On average, they have scored higher on tests when I have helped, particularly in the area of social studies. I have also helped multiple students at my school. The average that they score on a test is typically ten points higher than when they study by themselves and, in some cases, twenty points if the student does not study at all. The results are typically better in social studies, the subject which I am most proficient in, but all subjects tend to shoe significant improvement. I am hands on. I personally learn best from things like powerpoints and handouts. This is also the way I tend to teach others.

I have volunteered over 80 hours combined from the summers of 2011-2012.I've worked with a diverse amount of students ages varying.Although I do mainly focusing on K-1 ,I am capable of helping any elementary student become successful and improve there selves in what ever it is that there struggling in. I am patient,because I know how it feels to have a disorder not being able to learn at the same pace.I have been in your child's shoes before so usually kids with disorders connect with me quicker then others . Patients is my number 1 key all kids do not learn at the same pace.When I work with a child I learn there speed so that they don't feel pushed or rushed ,and I work (sometimes off duty) to figure out different exercisers to improve there speed and there school work performance.
