My comments on tutoring Science : Won Best in Science in high school

In my experience as a student, I have often questioned the teaching methods of many teachers and professors. I sometimes realize more effective ways things could be explained, once I understand it. I am patient and sympathetic with those who misunderstand a concept. I enjoy the challenge of applying my ability to explain a topic from multiple angles of comprehension.
I was raised on a farm in Iowa and attended school there until I was 13. In Zephyrhills, Fl, I was awarded valedictorian status for the class of '09. When I substitute teach, there is not always a need to have to teach something but I am very happy when that times comes. I have had the opportunity to teach anywhere from 6th grade students learning about adverbs to high school students learning about trigonometric functions.
