I had always wanted to be a teacher, but after teaching for several years I found that I enjoyed the one-on-one experience more. I have a triple major in math education, elementary education and physical education. Seeing the look on a student's face when he/she grasps a new concept is a very rewarding experience. As a student at Eastern Illinois University (EIU) I majored in Accounting and minored in Chemistry and Pre-medicine.
