Statistics is one of my top subjects!

A mix between experiential and didactic. I find it useful to probe where the students are having conceptual problems and work into communication style. Many times, students have the basic knowledge but fail to communicate it effectively. No matter one's career pathway, communication is an essential interpersonal, academic, and career tool.
I have been teaching a brick and mortar university for a year and am now engaging teach at an online university. My comments on tutoring Statistics : I employed statistical analyses regularly during my scientific research projects in order to verify the significance of the data and the relationship between multiple variables in my experiments.

I always liked playing up my quirky personality. My favorite teachers and professors were the goofy ones, the ones who can relate to the students' fun side. These teachers also challenged me the most, and I ended up getting so much more out of the course. I figure that, if a student likes the teacher, he or she will pay more attention and have a deeper respect for the teacher. The teacher then can use this trust to push the student a little more, intellectually. I find that is what works best for me.
I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience. However, I have volunteered my services to family members and friends. During my sophomore year, I took Organic Chemistry and excelled.
