I enjoy teaching and believe that all students can learn. There are many ways to interest them; and with technology, all students will research and work with language and culture. I have had great success with students on a one-to-one basis. In language learning, some students have needed out-of-class time to work privately with me. I have also advised students and interested them in doing projects for club activities.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with Middle School age youth for almost a decade. I am Site Coordinator at an after school program & run a science focused club there. I also occasionally help the students who have been removed from our Homework Room with a number of subjects. I enjoy imparting my knowledge to my students via a variety of hands on learning activities and have always been a keen math, science and language arts student myself. Throughout school, I also played every woodwind instrument except the Oboe. I enjoy working with children and feel that they each have their own individual learning style. At times, I feel that conventional educational methods may fail some children. Educators must learn to be flexible, and allow students to learn in the style that they feel most comfortable.
