A Little Bit About Me...
The challenge of teaching is the constant upheaval of technique due to the myriad of personalities and backgrounds which make up the typical classroom. I enjoy listening and, as a creative writer, am perceptive to my surrounds. This, i've found, is a necessary trait in the life of the successful teacher. Having served the past 7 years at a Christian university, I understand the importance of a holistic approach to working with students, and doing whatever is in my power to further the education and awareness of the next generation.
I completed a BA in English from Union University in 2003. I tutored and proofread for other university students and contributed most of the writing for the yearbook my senior year.
