My comments on tutoring Spanish : I am not a fancy certified teacher. I don't speak Castilian Spanish, and I don't pretend that the Spanish that I speak is as formal as they speak in Madrid, but I am fluent, and I do know the language. I am new to the field of teaching, and trying to help others while I make a name for myself. I don't promise to make you fluent in Spanish overnight, but with interest and participation from you, I will teach you the Spanish that you need to accomplish your goals.

I teach mostly by rote. So, if you want an interactive lab, then I'm your man. Language is alive and meant to be spoken, not droned on about in a lecture.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : I can help with Spanish at a high school level or below. However, I'm no expert and it would help me if the student has a book.

I worked for ten months as an assistant teacher at a daycare center. I was employed through a program at my high school. My jobs included supervising and joining in with the children's activities. I've also helped children prepare for the FCAT with my church. I challenge students to overcome their difficulties and do not allow them to persist repeatedly in ignorance and misunderstanding. Rather, I require my students to learn and extensively practice even the most basic concepts until they are no longer problems, and this allows the students to move on to more complicated concepts, but, as needed, I patiently explain any concepts that are unclear.
