Spelling is part of language arts. Rather than memorizing a list of words weekly, I prefer to work with patterns that will help spelling most any words. Even though spell correct helps today, it is good to know how to spell as many words as one can from memory. My teaching style is determined by the group that I am teaching. I am always honest and open minded with my students. I always give me the respect and care that they deserve. My many years of teaching experience at all levels (from elementary to college) has given me the ability and patience to work with students of all ages.
