A Little Bit About Me...

Through my teaching style I emphasize hands-on learning by using manipulatives. I also use modeling and repetition. I believe the best way to learn something is to practice doing it yourself over and over again using various methods. Practice makes permanent! I enjoy incorporating fun and games into education because I believe learning should be fun!

I have obtained my Bachelors in human Services and completed the teaching certification program at Lonestar College. I have passed my content exams in special education ec-12 and the generalist 4-8. I will take my social studies 4-8 content next month. I have taught adults with special needs for two years.
