To me, the process of asking questions and allowing the student's curiosity and intelligence to reach conclusions is far more effective than one-sided lecturing. A Little Bit About Me...

I started off volunteering at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club in Winston-Salem, N.C. while in college. That is what sparked my interest in tutoring. I began tutoring after I graduated from school. Over the last 4 years I have tutored elementary and junior high kids in mathematics. I have also helped a few adults study for the G.E.D. math section of the exam. I have a daughter that was in advanced math while attending the second grade.
