A Little Bit About Me...

In 2006 I taught graphic design topics at Westwood College. In 2007 I taught the same subject at The Creative Circus (roughly equivalent to an MBA program for designers, writers, photographers, and art directors). In 2008 I taught in the design department for Georgia State University. This summer I traveled to a remote region in India to teach English. I have taught GRE prep for the past 3 years, covering the verbal, quantitative (math), and analytical writing (essay) areas. As a test prep teacher, I have a close knowledge of students' approach to graduate school, and the process of improving their chances of acceptance to schools of choice. If students can understand language and grammar in their own context and how it is useful then it will be better and easier to incorporate into their own writing and reading and therefore more natural.
