I have taught students of all learning levels Science grades 6-12, for 14+ years in the Texas Public Schools. I have taught ESL students, as well, for I am bilingual:reading, writing and speaking. I have more experience with the middle school student, than the high school student, but am quite capable of teaching either. I have been an Item Writer for Oakhills Technologies, Inc. in Austin, Tx--writing questions for the TeXES test for Science Teacher Certification. Helping children with math applications are considered very important in our environment here in the United States of America. Many people do not have the same passion for helping students understand the reasoning for mathematics.
