My classes are by no means easy, I prepare my students for life, even if that means having students leave my class with “their head hurting” because they had to think too much. I believe my ultimate philosophy has been that learning should hurt a little bit. If the classroom environment is not provocative, controversial, and challenging, I think the teacher has fallen short of his or her task. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching credentials are in English and education. However... At the middle school level and high school level, I have taught/tutored English composition, geography, history, social studies, government, economics, and computer applications. At the college and adult level, I have taught/tutored English composition, oral communications (public speaking and debate), business and business administration, resume writing, advanced computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the Open Office Suite).
