My comments on tutoring Science : Received a bachelor of science degree in environmental resource management. I have taken and had to learn a variety of different sciences at the college level in order to earn my degree.

Since graduating from college I have been learning more and more about the natural world around us. I have spent time as a professional biologist performing a wide array of tasks that encompass chemistry and engineering with aspects to biological studies. Field Biology and Fisheries biology are my strongest suits, but I also have experience teaching Marine Biology to students visiting to the Florida Keys. We would teach the scientific method as well as lab protocol and field ecological concepts to students during their stay. For example, some people may learn through discussion, while others may need to see pictures or presentations of the subject matter. I like to identify how the person learns first through questions, or by testing them with a simple task first to identify the method which seems to work best for them. Often the kids in my class are those who do not like to be challenged, so I incorporate a lot of questions to provoke thinking and problem solving on their own. A Little Bit About Me...

As a student of psychology, I have always been interested in using my knowledge to help others improve themselves.
